Delta(s): Where The River Meets The Sea

On March 5th 2022, the Gossip collective held an exhibition in Budapest as a way to reclaim International Women’s Day. We choose to make our art. We choose to create a space in which we can work on and through kinship. We are a queer intersectional feminist collective, an international and multicultural group of performance artists, visual artists, poets, writers and teachers. Our work is focused on expressing our lived experiences of womanhood. We envision a way of working that is supportive of each other and that encourages us to dive deep into our most vulnerable, unspoken, unspeakable experiences. We envision a world in which our herstories are welcomed and heard. If you know what we are talking about, this is also for you. This is our delta, where the river of our personal and collective experiences become possible to touch, reach and share. The exhibition features artworks and performances by Subas Ali, Béres Bíborka Janka, Luiza Moraes, Skylar, Jenna Brookmyer, and Kemelo Sehlapelo was curated curated by Kemelo Sehlapelo.
